Former SuperSport United forward Thabo Mnyamane is one of those players who was once tipped for big things in the PSL but now finds himself as a free agent.
The attacking midfielder is amongst the players who were released by their clubs and not even offered two-month contract extensions until the end of the season.
The 27-year-old now joins a growing list of unemployed players during a very difficult period in the country and PSL's history as the economy suffers due to the coronavirus pandemic.

One of his friends on and off the field, Grant Kekana, has expressed his sadness at the situation.
"I was hurt to see Mnyamane leaving the club," Kekana tells snl24.com/kickoff.
"We were close on and off the field, we spent a lot of time together along with Aubrey Modiba and other guys. I have massive respect for him and I know he'll be back to terrorise defenders sooner rather than later."

Mnyamane made his name at University of Pretoria along with Kekana before they both earned moves to nearby Matsatsantsa.
