SuperSport United have exercised faith in one of their longest-serving stars by handing him a new and improved four-and-a-half year deal.
SuperSport have confirmed that goalkeeper Ronwen Williams has committed his future to the club until June 2024, putting to bed any further speculation that he might move on anytime soon having been linked with Orlando Pirates.
The 27-year-old Bafana Bafana shotstopper has spent the past 15 years with Matsatsantsa, since arriving at the club's academy back in 2005, and will now extend his relationship up to 19 years.

Shortly after notching up 300 appearances for the Tshwane outfit, Williams earned himself another long-term deal after previously becoming the first player to sign a straight five-year deal with the club back in July 2017.
The Port Elizabeth-born keeper has held the number-one reins since the 2011/12 season, making more than 18 appearances in every campaign since.
"In many ways, Ronwen is the poster child of the club. He represents so much of what we stand for in terms of trying to give maximum opportunity for talented young players to shine," said SuperSport CEO Stan Matthews.

"He joined us as a 12-year-old, having to live miles away from his parents in an unfamiliar environment and has worked his socks off to be Bafana Bafana number-one, PSL goalkeeper of the year and an integral part of the last six trophies he has helped us win."
"We are all truly proud of him – a homegrown talent and a reflection of how hard work, passion, discipline and sacrifice can enable you to reach your dreams."
