Mere cut of ties with Swallows last year after the relationship between player and club turned sour due to a document that The Birds were imposing on the platers related to medical bills and insurance.
Mere had been with Swallows since September 2019 and came through with the club from the first division playing a key role in their promotion.
He also stood up last season missing just four games all season as The Birds finished in an impressive sixth position in their first season back in the PSL.
Mere – who turns 38 in March – played just six games this season and his last appearance was in October against Chippa United.
Information reaching this website is that he has agreed to sign for basement club TS Galaxy as a replacement for Luckyboy Mokoena.
Mere was introduced as a new player at the club at Friday morning's training session.
He is the third signing made by the club after Shane Roberts and Lefa Hlongwane.
The club is also assessing a young left-footed winger from Polokwane City Rovers.
Mere is held in high regard in domestic football for how long he has been able to continue performing and maintaining top fitness since he came through into the PSL as a teenager in the 2001/02 season with Hellenic.
Since then, he went on to play for Mamelodi Sundowns had a stint with the original Swallows then played at Platinum Stars and Bidvest Wits.
