Hello Man U, Ngezana is here with you!

Bafana Bafana defender Siyabonga Ngezana will play a further eight games in European club competition football after reaching the group stages of the Europa League with his Romanian club FCSB.

Ngezana is in his debut season playing in UEFA club competitions and will be in Friday's group stages draw of the Europa League after FCSB won 1-0 on Thursday to progress 2-1 on aggregate against LASK in the play-offs.

FCSB needed a late winner on a night when the former Kaizer Chiefs defender put in another 90-minute shift at centre-back for his 12th appearance of the season.

What happens next?

Ngezana's club will now be in the draw for Europe's second-tier competition in Monaco today with a new format involving 36 clubs.

UEFA's club coefficient has been used to divide these teams into four pots of nine teams.

Each team will play eight different clubs from each of the four pots, one at home and one away.

This means for FCSB, who are in Pot 4, they will have two opponents from their stream, which has Atletico Bilbao at the top and IF Elfsborg at the bottom.

From Pot 1, they could get Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur, while in Pot 2 they might be drawn against any team from Real Sociedad to Ferencvaros and then in Pot 3 any of Malmo all the way to Qarabag.

The task of getting into the knockout stages (Last 16) will mean FCSB have to either finish in the Top Eight or be in the two-legged knockout play-offs involving teams from position 9-16 against those finishing in 17-24.

Those that finish from position 25 and lower will be eliminated, which is all that FCSB need to avoid.
