Bonginkosi Hlongwane: Doing things the Minnesota way

From KwaZulu-Natal to the state of Minnesota, South African star Bongokuhle Hlongwane is making easy work of being a United States resident! Here's a look.

The story

Moving to a new place can be a culture shock, as people generally experience some sort of disorientation when they find themselves in a new environment, culture and way of life.

Hlongwane, though, seems to be showing no signs of being bewildered as he has adopted some noticeable traits since making the switch to North America in January this year.

The catch-up

At just the age of 21-year-old, the attacker could've easily lost his ways upon his arrival overseas, however, he remains steadfast in his dreams of succeeding and he appears to have stayed humble in his exploits.

Probably the most eye-catching moment came when he posted an image of himself all dressed up in dungaree, which is a popular look in the area as it is famed for its lakes.

This means that there's a huge culture of fishing and what outfit is more ideal for fishing than a dungaree?

The footy side of things

The former Maritzburg United star has shown promise in Major League Soccer, contributing two assists in his first 10 outings, although he has only started three matches, according to Transfermarkt.

For the most part, he has been utilised in the left-wing position and he played 63 minutes in his side's 1-0 loss to FC Cincinnati on Sunday.

Your thoughts, please?

Given his incredible potential and age, should Bafana Bafana manager Hugo Broos build a team around young players such as Hlongwane?
