What happened?
Despite the prominence of the big brands mentioned above, an evergrowing sportswear label is quickly giving the big boys a run for their money, and it is Italian sports apparel-maker Lotto.
Footballers are watched by millions and thousands in the stadium which leads to many companies wanting to collaborate and work with them. Lotto identified this and quickly snapped up some household names including Mnyamane, Ekstein, Taariq Fielies, Thabang Monare and so much more.

Lotto boys
Some of the brand ambassadors took to Instagram to flex their new gifts from the Lotto Brand ahead of the second half of the 2021/22 season.
First was Pule Ekstein who showed off a new boot in the form of a Solista 100 III gravity fg worth $235 (R3 628), according to the brand's official website.
While Mnyamane copped himself a pair of Lotto Maestro which were originally valued at £170 (R3 580), according to prosoccerdirect.
Elsewhere, Issa Sarr got himself Lotto drip from head to toe, looking very smart as he prepares to go to morning training with Uthongathi.

The company has previously partnered with celebrities and athletes including South African television personalities Lalla Hirayama, DJ Speedsta, tennis star Lloyd Harris and Blue Bulls rugby player Nizaam Carr, to mention a few.
Did you know?
Lotto is said to have first started out as tennis shoes manufacturers but it then branched into sportswear for basketball, volleyball, athletics and then football.
