Mamelodi Sundowns diversifies Ka Bo Yellow fanbase

Continuing on a trend of making South Africa a football-loving nation again, Mamelodi Sundowns have released an inclusive fashion collection for their young supporters.

The story

This week Masandawana confirmed that their Ka Bo Yellow Kids Merchandise will be available at selected Ackermans stores nationwide and online.

The collaboration, however, was first made public in September last year as the club released a range of tees and shorts for younger boys and girls aged 2 – 16. The aim is thought to be providing an affordable collection for minors and getting the club's youngest fans geared up to support The Brazilians.

Style for little ones

"For Mamelodi Sundowns, the youth are an important part of the Club Vision, and together with Ackermans we are releasing the first-ever range of official licensed products consisting of 8 products with the aim of expanding the offering," the club said on their official website.

"Prices range from R49.95- R129.95 with limited stock available."

Some parents will be delighted with this collection as children grow up fast, thus buying expensive regalia that they will soon outgrow could be an inconvenient move for some.

This range seems to be an ideal alternative as parents do not necessarily have to spend much on clothes that could soon be too small for their little ones.

Did you know?

Both Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates also released an affordable range of club merchandise, but they partnered with Jet stores instead.

Your thoughts, please?
