Orlando Pirates touchdown in high fashion

Orlando Pirates touched down in Nigeria for the CAF Confederations Cup final in high fashion, as they debuted a stunning new leopard print gear.

The story

Pirates are set to take on Moroccan outfit RS Berkane at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium on Friday night.

The Soweto giants flew out to the city of Uyo, however, their attire really caught the eye as it was the first occasion that the team was seen wearing that gear - and to say that it looks stylish would be an understatement!

Football x Fashion

Over the last few seasons, football apparel has dramatically improved as some brands have shown more effort in the design of sportswear.

We've seen vintage kits become re-stylised and we've also seen labels like adidas and Nike infuse elements of streetwear into their newer sports apparel collections.

The Bucs have been a beneficiary of this trend and their merch looked more inspiring than ever before.

Dripping the Bucs way

Having seen the lifestyle collections adidas Originals have released for clubs like Arsenal and Real Madrid, it is an exciting time for clubs who are endorsed by the German brand.

Pirates donned a super-stylish three-piece leopard gear consisting of an animal printed track top, an infill TRFL t-shirt, and matching track pants.

The aesthetically pleasing outfit is most likely inspired by the side's exploits in the continent this season.

Your thoughts, please?

Do you think the Bucs will be crowned the 2021/22 CAF Confed Cup champions?
