SuperSport United have seemingly decided on the future of striker Abubeker Nasir.
The Ethiopia international joined SuperSport at the start of the 2024/25 season but has failed to make a single appearance for the club.
The 25-year-old represented Ethiopia during the recent international break and scored a hat-trick against Djibouti in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier last month.

SuperSport has now deregistered the Ethiopian and according to a source, the club is no longer willing to work with the talented 25-year-old striker.
"Haven’t seen him here at SuperSport since FIFA break, He’s not registered to play for us. Our foreign space is full," an insider at SuperSport tells KickOff.
Former Sundowns winger Koketso Mmotong pleads with whichever club has a contract with to Nasir to let him go just to protect his talent from going to waste.
"That guy knows football; it's just that injuries are derailing his progress; I have mixed feelings when it comes to him because I like him; I had hoped he was going to add something at Sundowns," Mmotong says

"Maybe his lifestyle is what is affecting his fitness.
"But still never doubt his quality; he's still got a good pace and skill, so not playing any games with such a talent is a waste. The boy must be allowed to go play wherever he wants to be."
