Ex-Bafana coach 'decides' on Wydad offer

A former Bafana Bafana head coach has reportedly made a final decision on replacing Rulani Mokwena at Wydad Casablanca.

The Moroccan giants are reportedly set to part ways with the South African coach after their poor run of form in the Botola Pro League.

Wydad have failed to win their last six league matches, which has left the side in third spot, six points behind second-place AS FAR Rabat with three games.

According to Le Site Info, former Bafana coach Carlo Queiroz has rejected the offer to join the Moroccan giants.

“Coaching Wydad is not possible at the present time for family and personal reasons," the Moroccan site reported.

The former Manchester United assistant coach was one of the preferred choices by Wydad president Hicham Ait Mena since last month.

The report added that Queiroz may be waiting for a tempting offer as Al Ahly are reportedly monitoring the coach following Marcel Koller's coach.

Reports in Morocco also claim that Mohamed Amine Benhachem is leading Wydad's training sessions ahead of their next league clash against Rabat.
