According to Moroccan publication Sit Anf, club president Hicham Ait Mena and Mokwena have reached an verbal agreement over the coach's departure.

However, the report adds that full agreement has not been reached with regards to compensation for Mokwena and his technical team, who will also be leaving.

"We've dropped a lot of points recently. Our situation could have been better. I can't explain some of the results because we deserved to win some of them."

Meanwhile, Amine Benhachem is reportedly set to take over the Wydad first team for the rest of the season as the club look for a new coach.
