Two goals each from Lionel Messi and Antoine Griezmann gave FC Barcelona a 4-0 triumph over Granada in LaLiga on Saturday evening.
There was just a single change to the visitors starting eleven, as Oscar Minguez replaced the suspended Clement Lenglet following their midweek win over Athletic Bilbao.
Granada were behind inside the opening 12 minutes when Antoine Griezmann turned in the six-yard area to complete a fine finish from a through pass by Sergio Busquets.
After a tentative spell, Granada began to push forward as the half-hour mark approached and managed to bring Marc-Andre Ter Stegen to a save off a speculative shot from Darwin Machis.
Barcelona grabbed a second in the last ten minutes of the first half when Lionel Messi picked up possession in the area to send in a delightful curler.
It was three for the Catalans inside the 42nd minute after Messi lined up for a free-kick before firing through the wall and into the bottom-corner to complete his brace.
The Catalans, who remained unchanged at halftime, threatened a fourth on 55 minutes through a looping strike from Frenkie De Jong while Luis Suarez and Luis Milla came on for the host.
However, the fourth goal did arrive inside the midway stage of the second period when Griezmann took one touch from a ball at the near post to volley in from a tight angle.
Granada ended the match with ten players as Jesus Vallejo received his marching orders on 78 minutes following a rash challenge on Martin Braithwaite right on the edge of the area.
Ronald Koeman's side dropped back as the clock began to wind, however the home side failed to cause any issues thus seeing the Catalans to victory in the end.
