Lionel Messi scores 50th career freekick but still ranked outside the top 10 of all-time

Lionel Messi scored his 50th career free-kick with a spectacular effort against Real Valladolid but how far is he from the top 10 takers of all-time?

Compatriots Zico, Ronaldinho, Pele, and Juninho also feature, with the former Lyon playmaker remarkably ahead of legendary figures.

With 16 direct free-kicks scored since the start of the 2016/17 season - Messi looks well on his way to breaking into the top 10.
