One of Europe's oldest clubs has now reportedly opened talks regarding a transfer for Manchester United outcast Mason Greenwood.
According to Turkish news outlet Sabah Sports, Greenwood has been added to Turkish giants Besiktas' transfer wish list, with an initial approach having already been made.

The outlet further reports that the club is "investigating the performance status of the 21-year-old" and have already "started" the process with an inquiry.
It remains to be seen if any move would be a loan or a permanent transfer, however.
In manager Erik ten Hag's pre-game press conference prior to United's match Nottingham Forest on Saturday, the Red Devils boss refused to answer questions about the attacker.
"Look, we are not where we want to be with our team. I have a lot of work. I have a lot of focus on my team and so I focus on the players who are available," the Dutchman responded when asked about the Greenwood situation.

The out-of-favour United forward was effectively put on the transfer market last week after the club decided that the time had come for them to part ways with him.
Greenwood was arrested and charged with attempted rape, controlling and coercive behaviour, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm in January 2022.
Just over a year later, those charges were dropped, with the Mancunians then conducting their own internal investigation into the incident, and ultimately deciding to help the player find a new club.
"All those involved, including Mason, recognise the difficulties with him recommencing his career at Manchester United," United said in a statement.
"It has therefore been mutually agreed that it would be most appropriate for him to do so away from Old Trafford, and we will now work with Mason to achieve that outcome."
Greenwood has previously been linked with moves to the Saudi Pro League, Turkey, Italy, and even Albania.
