Dior-wearing Khanye becomes a taxi boss

The stars keep on aligning for former Kaizer Chiefs star Junior Khanye after he revealed that he has just bought a spanking new Toyota Quantum. Here's a look!

The story

Congratulations are in order for the former footballer turned pundit after he revealed that he is a proud taxi owner. In a post on his official Instagram account, Khanye said: "Another one thanks to God and my ancestors."

This seemingly suggests that the Quantum is not his first, or he could simply be making a reference to international musician DJ Khaled, who is famed for the "another one" expression. The term is often implied in a congratulatory way or to suggest an achievement.

Nevertheless, many will be delighted with his purchase as the taxi business is one of the most lucrative industries in the country, earning an estimated annual revenue of R5 billion, according to News24.

The 15-seater vehicle is obviously a common feature in the country's transport industry and most likely the most familiar car you will find on any South African road. Also known as Ses'fikile, the ride is a money making-machine and it is widely thought that these taxis pay themselves, with the money they make easily covering the monthly installment - thus it is a lucrative investment, particularly in the kasi.
