The former Orlando Pirates, Maritzburg United and SuperSport United star took to his official social media platforms to voice his displeasure at the 'crazy' buying and selling of some of the most historic football clubs in the country, including Bidvest Wits, a club sold just a season after winning the league title.
Wits was also just months away from celebrating a 100th year in existence.
The sad situation in South African Football right now. I cant help but think this is not a sustainable way to go about things. Where does this end?#psl #bloemceltic #bidvestwits pic.twitter.com/yU9TN9xXi6

"Looking at the log table from the 2013/14 season, would you believe me if I told you that six clubs no longer exist?
"The two that hurt the most was Bidvest Wits – [a club with] massive history and obviously the best supporters in South Africa, Bloemfontein Celtic.
"It's crazy scenes. It's very difficult to look at the situation positively, we've hurt a lot of fans here, we've lost all of history in our game…
"Things have to change, this can't continue."
