Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku has reportedly decided to halve his wages in order to join a certain European team ahead of the new season.
The Blues have no desire to keep the Belgium striker this campaign, with new coach Enzo Maresca focusing on the other striking options in the squad.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Lukaku is only keen on a move to Napoli where he will reunite with coach Antonio Conte.

Lukaku played under Conte at Inter Milan, where he helped club claim the 2020/21 Serie A title before he made the big switch to Chelsea.
The 31-year-old is also seen as a replacement for Victor Osimhen, who is expected to leave Naples and join Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain.
The report adds that Lukaku has decided to take a pay cut to join the Naples outfit and has already agreed personal terms.

The Belgian will reportedly go from earning €11million a season to €6million although performance-related bonuses have been included in the contract.
Lukaku has spent the last two seasons out on loan at Inter and AS Roma, but Sky Sports Italia add that Chelsea are now willing to drop their asking price from €44millinon to €35million.
The former Manchester United striker has made a total of 129 appearances in Serie A throughout his career, scoring 70 goals and creating a further 21.
