The Mamelodi Sundowns U14 team delivered a fine performance as they thrashed their Manchester City counterparts 4-2 in their third match of the ongoing U14s' MAHD Intercontinental Championship.
The development side of the Tshwane giants went into their third encounter of the competition in desperate need of a win after suffering a 3-0 defeat to Brazilian side Fluminense on Monday.
Prior to that, they had lost 4-3 on penalties to hosts Mahd Academy on the opening day.

The two defeats had left Sundowns at the bottom of the log table with Deportivo Cruz Azul and Fluminense sitting at the top of the international competition currently underway at the Mahd Sports Academy fields in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
However, against City, the young Mzansi stars found their groove and goals from Hlumile Tshaka, Rorisang Taukobong (brace) and Thapelo Ndwandwe were enough to seal a memorable 4-2 win against the English outfit.
