Cristiano Ronaldo appears to have reignited the age-old debate over who is the greatest footballer of all time, cheekily responding to a jab about Lionel Messi.
Off the field, the forward has expanded his presence online, launching his YouTube channel earlier this year and amassing a staggering 10 million followers within 24 hours, setting a new world record.

As part of his YouTube ventures, the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward recently teamed up with MrBeast in a penalty challenge titled How Many Goalkeepers Does It Take to Stop Ronaldo?
In the video, MrBeast and three of his friends took on the daunting task of trying to stop the Al Nassr star from scoring.
At one point, the American YouTuber stirred things up by pointing at one of his friends and quipping: "Nolan says he doesn't like you. He thinks you're not the GOAT. Nolan's the guy on the end over there, and he thinks Messi's better! He calls it soccer and says Messi's the GOAT."
Ronaldo responded with a grin and said, "Who said Messi's better than me?" before breaking into laughter.
While the exchange was light-hearted, it was a reminder of the competitive spirit that has defined Ronaldo's career and fuelled his historic rivalry with Messi.
The Portuguese superstar, who remains fiercely competitive on the pitch even at 39 years of age, has delivered top performances for Saudi Pro League side Al Nassr.
