An Orlando Pirates legend has opened up on what pleased him about Jose Riveiro's charges after booking their spot in the semi-finals of the Nedbank Cup last weekend.

The match ended 2-2 after 120 minutes, with Jose Riveiro's troops going on to edge it 5-4 on penalties.
They will now face Marumo Gallants at home in the semi-finals, on the weekend of 12/13 April.
Edward 'Magents' Motale believes the side demonstrated their depth and showed they do not rely on individuals.
"The game was very balanced. Pirates went in as favorites, but SuperSport proved they can't be underestimated," notes the ex-defender.
"We all know how good Gavin Hunt is when it comes to planning for big teams. He did his homework.
"It's tough at Pirates to determine who will start a match because the club is filled with talented players. Everyone deserves to play at Pirates. We never know who is fit or not because the club is not providing that information to us as fans. It's different from before, when we would receive updates.
"However, the team is performing well, competing, and fighting to keep pace with Sundowns, which is what we want to see. The way supporters are filling the stands indicates that they are happy," he added.
The 1996 AFCON winner with Bafana Bafana has been impressed with young Mbekezeli Mbokazi, who opened the scoring over the weekend, at centre-back.
"He will improve with more game time. He is confident and eager to make his mark. At the moment, he is still learning and not quite special yet.

"It's not that the coach took a gamble by putting him in the deep end. At Pirates, anyone can step up and play at any time. At Pirates, we don't rely on one player, we don't have a [Lucas] Ribeiro [Costa].
"Every player who gets game-time rises to the occasion. Every Pirates player is a Ribeiro, so we are not overly-reliant on just one individual."
The Soweto giants now turn their focus to league matters as they face Stellenbosch FC at Athlone Stadium on Tuesday.
