Mlambo spotted in kasi tourney, pro career on the skids?

Xola Mlambo could be headed for divorce with Marumo Gallants after being spotted in action during the Shaka Easter tournament in Soshanguve last weekend.

Mlambo was amongst PSL players, including Lefa Hlongwane and Lucky Mohomi, seen flexing muscles during the Last 32 round of the Shaka tournament at Block VV in Soshanguve, Gauteng.

Mohomi is currently on the books of Leruma United, whilst controversy magnet Hlongwane has made only four appearances for Milford FC in the Motsepe Foundation Championship.

The duo's team Chego 17 of Mamelodi advanced to the quarter-finals of the kasi tournament after beating Chilli Boys 4-0 in a Last 32 encounter played at the Shaka Sports Complex on Sunday.

According to an official at Gallants, Mlambo is still trying to sort out some personal issues, with the official refusing to speculate on the former Orlando Pirates man's future with the club.

"I understand there were issues that the club and Xola Mlambo are currently trying to sort. At this moment, I can't disclose those issues," said the official, cautious at giving much away.
