Wydad Athletic Club coach Rulani Mokwena has reportedly received a warnings from certain club officials following the Red Castle's qualification to the Throne Cup Round of 16.
Mokwena led the Botola Pro League powerhouse to the last 16 of the Moroccan Throne Cup after defeating FUS Rabat 1-0 in the Round of 32 on Friday night last week.
The victory at the Stade Larbi Zaouli Stadium meant that the Casablanca-based team would face Moghreb Tetuán in the next phase of the tournament. The game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5, at the Saniat Rmel Stadium.

Mokwena has been under significant pressure recently due to a poor streak of league results, having last secured a league win in February against Chabab Mohammédia, even though Mokwena was not present due to his grandmother's funeral.
Now, as reported by Le Sité Info, some Wydad officials have given a serious caution to Mokwena regarding the threat of Moghreb, asserting that they are capable of humiliating the Red Castle, considering that the White Dove club performs well in cup tournaments.

According to the aforementioned site's sources have also warned the 38-year-old coach that the Tetouan-based team possesses a long history of embarrassing major clubs, particularly in cup competitions.
Doing well in the Throne Cup could reduce pressure on Mokwena and give his players a very much-needed boost as they aim for a second position in the Botola Pro League standings to ensure their qualification for next year's CAF Champions League.
