A former PSL coach has revealed why Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns have a better chance of progressing to the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League.
Pirates are set to face MC Alger, while Sundowns take on Esperance, both in early April.

"At this stage, all the teams are strong," says Luc Eymael, speaking to KickOff.com.
"Pirates are in top form at the moment, except for their last game. They have a good chance against MC Alger, who qualified somewhat by luck in the beginning. While they have improved as the tournament has progressed, they remain an inconsistent team.
"If Pirates can put pressure on them, they can qualify for the semi-finals, especially if they secure a win at home.
"The same goes for Sundowns. They are performing well, and if you look at the results of Esperance de Tunis, they have been inconsistent. They were defeated by a fairly average team in the league, which is unusual for them.
"There seems to be a significant shift happening in the Tunisian league, as Esperance usually dominates. I'm not sure what's going on with them," he went on.
Eymael says Sundowns head coach Miguel Cardoso will want to prove a point to his former employers Esperance.
"Though he may not openly express it, I believe he harbours a desire for sweet revenge," he says, while also sharing his thoughts on Stellenbosch FC's next CAF Confederation Cup opponents.

"It won't be easy for Stellenbosch facing Zamalek at home. I think Zamalek's experience will be greatly beneficial, even though they are currently going through a rough patch with their third coaching change this season.
"However, as for Sundowns and Pirates, they have a solid chance of advancing."
