Scara looks set to stay at Chiefs

The Amakhosi crowd favourite was one of six players placed on the transfer list by Chiefs’ technical staff two weeks ago after deeming their services surplus to requirements.

“I don’t think I’ll be playing this season because no team has approached Chiefs for my services yet. Since I’m still contracted to Chiefs, I don’t think I will be able to move to any team of my choice, so for now I just want to forget about football,” says a clearly frustrated Ngobese.

The 28-year old player adds that he was surprised to be put on transfer as he was looking forward to helping Chiefs regain their glory days.

He refused to be drawn into commenting on his relationship with coach Muhsin Ertugral.

Meanwhile former Bafana Bafana and Orlando Pirates defender Thabang Molefe is trying hard to beat the transfer deadline and is hard at training, looking to re-unite with Jomo Cosmos.

Molefe’s career has stagnated somewhat after leaving Pirates unceremoniously last season. He joined the Buccaneers from French side Le Mans.

Jomo Sono confirmed that he is having a look at the 2002 World Cup player and indications are that Molefe could be added to Ezenkosi’s books soon.
