The Dragons have only lost once so far at the European Championship, against rivals England and have put in some thoroughly impressive performances, such as the 3-0 thrashing of Russia in the group stage.
The impact of talisman Gareth Bale has been notable, especially in the light of the under-performance of other nations' star players, namely Poland's Robert Lewandowski and Portugal's Cristiano Ronaldo.
Bale currently leads the scoring charts with three goals along with Spain's Alvaro Morata and Antoine Griezmann of France.
On top of that, the Belgians have failed to beat the Welsh since 2012, including two games in qualifying for the Euros, and the Real Madrid forward believes that is bound to play on the minds of their opponents.
"We are like their bogey team aren't we?" Bale said ahead of the match. "We understand we've had good results against them, but they are a top team.
"Hopefully that edge gets into their heads, you never know. It's about how well the two teams perform on the night.
"We will definitely draw on those experiences, it gives us more knowledge on them. We know how to play against them and how they play."
The Red Devils are sweating on the fitness of Eden Hazard after he picked up a knock in their 4-0 win over Hungary in the round of 16, but coach Marc Wilmots revealed the Chelsea man will play if fit, regardless of if he was able to train with the team in the lead up to the match.
"Eden is still feeling some discomfort in his thigh," he told a news conference. "I can't really say how it's going to go. The medical staff are doing their work and we're waiting.
"Will Eden be able to play on Friday without having trained on Thursday? It's possible."
Wilmots will definitely be without Thomas Vermaelen, who is suspended, while Wales have a full squad to choose from despite Ashley Williams missing training on Thursday.
