However, some top tacticians, such as Zinedine Zidane, Frank Lampard, Andrea Pirlo, Ernesto Valverde, and Gennaro Gattuso, remain clubless today, although some of them could soon be snapped up.
Zidane left Los Blancos at the end of May this year, explaining that he felt the club no longer had "faith" in him. This came after the end of the 2020/21 campaign, with Real finishing trophyless for the first time since the 2009/10 season.
Lampard was sacked by Chelsea towards the end of January this year following a dismal run of results and performances, and was immediately replaced by Thomas Tuchel.
Valverde, meanwhile, was dismissed by FC Barcelona at the beginning of last year for reportedly diverting away from the club's football identity and style.
