Al Ahly midfielder Karim Walid has made a bold claim after his side's defeat to Orlando Pirates in the CAF Champions League on Saturday night.
The defending African champions were unable to secure top spot in Group C after losing 2-1 to the Buccaneers in Cairo.

Qualification to the quarter-finals was already secured, but the defeat was Al Ahly's second in the group stage phase while Pirates finished without a loss.
Walid claims the defeat to the South African side will motivate the team to win another Champions League title.
"The match was not easy, and we apologize to our fans after the loss, which will motivate us to win the title," Karim said after the game, as per Koora.
"We seek to achieve victories in the following rounds to secure the African title for the third time in a row."
The Red Devils last finished second in their group during the 2022/23 season behind Mamelodi Sundowns, but they did go on to win the title.
