Portugal have officially confirmed their new manager following Fernando Santos' sacking.
Roberto Martinez has been announced as A Selecao's new manager.
The former Everton boss was a free agent having left his role as Belgium head coach after the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.

"I appreciate the enthusiasm and ambition with which he (Martinez) received the invitation," Portuguese Football Federation president Fernando Gomes said.
"This is an important moment for the national team."
It is understood that the head coach has signed a deal until 2026 with the Iberians.
Martinez coached Belgium to a third-place finish at the 2018 World Cup and had a six-year spell with the Red Devils before leaving.
Portugal fell short of their 2022 World Cup goals when they were eliminated by Morocco in the quarter-finals, while the relationship between Ronaldo and previous manager Santos had reportedly fallen apart too.
