Following the unfortunate incident of an African footballer who died shortly after collapsing during a game, a curfew has reportedly been imposed.
Tragedy struck during the Adeleke Memorial Cup Final match in Osogbo, Nigeria, as 29-year-old footballer Adeyemi Adewale collapsed on the pitch and was later pronounced dead.

According to Naija News, Adewale, a player for the Ilesa West Local Government Area football team, suffered the fatal incident during the match held at Ataoja School of Science.
The Osun State Police Command spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, confirmed the incident in a statement. "Today (Thursday), while the Adeleke Memorial Cup Final match was going on, one Adeyemi Adewale 'M' 29yrs, a player of Ilesa West Football team, slumped on the pitch.
"He was rushed to the Osun State University Teaching Hospital, where he was later confirmed dead by a doctor," the statement revealed.
The authorities have begun an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, and his body has been moved to the morgue at Uniosun Teaching Hospital.
Meanwhile, the state has also been dealing with heightened tensions between two communities in the area, with it being reported that the incident is seen as a continuation of the war between the communities.

As a result, Osun State Governor Ademola Adeleke has imposed a curfew from 7 pm to 7 am to prevent further escalation of the conflict.
