Now, according to Arab news publication Alittihad.Info, FIFA has sent two letters to Wydad and other participating clubs in the Club World Cup.

It is said that one letter is related to a preparatory meeting for the tournament, which will be attended by an official representative of each club. It is also noted that this meeting will take place in April in New York City.

It is also reported that the second letter informs participants about the final date for the arrival of the teams competing at the Club World Cup, which FIFA has set as 11 June 2025, just four days before the opening match between Inter Miami and Al Ahly.

Furthermore, FIFA wants to ensure that the Organising Committee visits all participating teams and communicates the latest arrangements related to training times, the date of arrival at the stadium to play matches, and other organisational matters.

Lastly, the world football organising body has set March as the deadline for submitting the initial squad lists, which must include a minimum of 35 players.

It is said that changes can be made to the list at a later stage.

Wydad's first game of the Club World Cup will be on 18 June against reigning Premier League champions Manchester City.
