Germany have sacked coach Hansi Flick after their disappointing 4-1 defeat to Japan on Saturday night.
The four-time world champions had a night to forget in Wolfsburg, where they extended their winless run to five successive encounters.
All five matches have been friendlies as Germany are hosting the 2024 European Championship, but the German Football Association has now made a change for the national side.

German Football Association have now taken the decision to remove Flick and his coaching staff after the disappointing results.
"The committees agreed that the Men's Senior National Team needs new impetus after the recent disappointing results. We need a spirit of optimism and confidence in our own country.
"For me personally, it is one of the most difficult decisions of my time in office so far. Because I appreciate Hansi Flick and his assistant coaches as football experts and people. But sporting success is the top priority for the DFB. So the decision was inevitable."
