Manchester City recorded back-to-back wins in the Premier League after thumping West Ham United 4-1 at the Etihad Stadium.
Coach Pep Guardiola went with the same side that started the win over Leicester City last weekend as they pushed for back-to-back wins for the first time since October.
The home side were gifted the opening ten minutes into the first half when Savinho's cross from the left took a deflection sailed past Alphonse Areola.
The defending champions upped the temp as the first half continued and they were unlucky not to be two goals ahead Areola produced a good low save to keep out Bernardo Silva's first-time strike.
City got their second goal three minutes before the halftime break as Savinho turned provider to pick out Haaland with a superb cross, with the latter heading home from close range.
Ten minutes into the second period, the home side picked up a third goal as Haaland completed his brace on the night with a lovely lob in the box after some more good work by Savinho.
Phil Foden got in on the act on 58 minutes as some sloppy play at the back allowed Kevin de Bruyne to pick up the ball and play in his English teammate, who made no mistake from close range.
There was to be no clean sheet for Guardiola's side as Niclas Füllkrug pulled a goal back in the 70th minute by turning home a cross from Tomas Soucek in the box.
The win sees Guardiola's charges remain in sixth position after 20 matches played while West Ham find themselves in 13th spot.
