Zamalek 'takes special approach' for Stellenbosch tie

Egyptian giants Zamalek have reportedly taken a special approach for their CAF Confederation Cup quarter-final against Stellenbosch FC.

The White Knight continue the defence of their Confederation Cup title against Stellenbosch, who will be competing in the quarter-finals for the first time.

The South African side will host Zamalek on 2 April before the return leg takes place in Cairo seven days later.

The Egyptian giants have already started planning for the fixture, with Kora Plus reporting that the club has decided to travel to South Africa three days before the clash.

The report adds that the decision was made to allow the defending champions to get familiar with their surroundings and playing conditions in South Africa.

The club's Egyptian League Cup clash against Modern Future, scheduled for after the first leg, has already been postponed, which allow Jose Peseiro's ample time to prepare for the second leg on home soil.

Zamalek's last visit to South Africa in the Confederation Cup ended with a 2-1 win over Orlando Pirates in the group stages.
