Sportswear manufacturers Le Coq Sportif have released the final five design nominees for the new Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana kits, with voting open to the public to choose the winner.
Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana kit sponsor Le Coq Sportif on Thursday unveiled the five designs that have been nominated to become the new home and away jerseys for South Africa's national football teams.
The French sportswear manufacturer had in June taken the innovative step to call on designers to submit designs for the new strip after previously receiving mixed reviews on their debut kit release back in 2020.
A shortlist of five designs has since been finalised and the public has been invited to play its part by choosing the next kit to be worn by both the men's and women's team, with the winner set to be revealed ahead of next year's 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.
"The new kit design will be worn by both Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana in the 2023/24 campaign," Le Coq Sportif said in a statement on Thursday evening.
"The winning jersey will be launched ahead of the FIFA Women's World Cup when our African Champions take on the rest of the globe in football's biggest spectacle."
You can view the five final designs below and vote for the next Bafana Bafana and Banyana Banyana kit here. Voting closes on 8 November 2022.
