Ndlazi: I believe Bafana will go through

Veteran coach Kenny Ndlazi has commended Bafana Bafana's Hugo Broos and his technical staff for sticking to what they believe in.

Ndlazi who is a former coach of the South Africa under-23 national team and Mpumalanga Black Aces, advises the Belgian mentor not to attempt to fix what's not broken.

"First of all, it's well done to the coach, Hugo Broos, and his technical staff," Ndlazi tells KickOff.

"They never changed from what they believed in. And if you don't change what you believe in, God will always bless you.

"They never changed, they continued to believe in the same players and continued to believe in their philosophy.

"What they got right was the starting team. I know it is dominated by Mamelodi Sundowns players but at the moment they are not Sundowns players but South African players.

"I think that's where they got it right, and their approach also, the energy they apply when they lose the ball.

"And as soon as they get the ball they relax, against Morocco that's where they managed to survive for 90 minutes."

On Saturday Bafana face Cape Verde in what most believe will be a tougher challenge compared to Morocco.

"I believe we will go through, as long as we maintain our defensive duties, except to allow the few crosses on the box like they did in some occasions against  Morocco.

"But I'm sure the coach has worked on all those mistakes ahead of tomorrow's game."
