Ali Maaloul: Tunisia defender rates Al Ahly ahead of 'many' European clubs

Maaloul, 29, is widely considered as one of the finest wing-backs in Africa and has been subject of interest from Europe since his days with CS Sfaxien.

Known for his incredible athleticism and goal-scoring prowess, the 59-time capped Tunisian has explained why he's happy to overlook a move away from the Egyptian Premier League champions.

"All the Tunisian players that have come to Egypt have been playing well," Maaloul said after the Carthage Eagles drew with Cameroon, as per KingFut.

"The Egyptian Premier League is one of the strongest in Africa and is watched by many.

"I have received many offers in the past period, but my relationship with Al Ahly and their fans is perfect and I don't think about leaving the club right now."
