Despite an embarrassing 16-1 aggregate defeat to Mamelodi Sundowns, Cote d'Or coach James Barra says his amateur team learnt lot.
The ruthless Brazilians were in an uncompromising mood at Lucas Moripe Stadium on Friday night as they qualified for the CAF Champions League group stages in fine stye.
Sundowns have already scored 21 goals in the continental club competition this year.

Barra hailed his players for trying their best against Sundowns even though they were facing the lion in its own cage.
"We tried our best. We knew this team is professional and we are all amateurs. We work, and then play football. We knew it was going to be difficult but we tried," said Barra.
The Cote d'Or coach also revealed the kind of jobs that some of his players do at home in Seychelles before coming to training.

"Some are meter readers and drivers. They work before coming to play football. We are not professionals but we try our best. We will continue to work hard to achieve better results" he added.
Barra and his charges are now taking home the lessons learnt from Sundowns and are set to switch focus to the CAF Confederation Cup.
"We learnt so many things. These guys are good. They move so quick. The ball is played so quick. The movement of the ball is good. We learnt a lot," Barra concluded.
