Sundowns left the country for Algeria on Monday in preparation for their CAF Champions League match against USMA on Saturday (18h00).
The Brazilians are currently sitting top of Group C, having collected four points from their opening two rounds of fixtures thus far.
Mosimane has by no means declared the current trip to North Africa a 'walk in the park', but says he certainly feels more comfortable in Algiers than in Casablanca.
"USM is not an easy team, it's a tough team. They have the same mentality, same culture [as Wydad] – the stands, you will see will be full, it's normal that their stadium is full," said Mosimane.
"But we have the mentality to play the game. We know how to play against the North Africans. We can deal with that."
The Brazilians spent Christmas Day at their hotel on Wednesday afternoon, after having trained in the morning.
Meanwhile, Sundowns will be without the services of midfielder Rivaldo Coetzee for Saturday evening's match, as he still nurses a foot injury sustained during their league match against Stellenbosch.
'Jingles' further noted that both striker Mauricio Affonso and defender Mosa Lebusa remain doubtful for the match as they deal with niggling injuries.
"Hopefully Affonso will be back. I was worried with Mosa, after a collision there [against Polokwane City], but if he doesn't make it then we have Wayne [Arendse]."
