Sekhukhune United were eliminated from the CAF Confederation Cup on the away-goal rule by C.D. Luanda Sul despite winning the second-leg 2-1 on Saturday evening.
Babina Noko named new signings Keletso Makgalwa and Katlego Mohamme, with Loydt Kazapua, Thabang Monare and Njabulo Ngcobo on the bench.
Luanda, who won the first-leg right at the death last weekend, looked to take further control of the overall tie earlier on but fine reflexes from Renaldo Leaner saved the host.
Makgalwa made himself big in the opening stages of the clash and broke the deadlock with a decent effort from a quickly taken free-kick as Luanda battled to keep track.
However, the lead got cancelled well past the half-hour mark when the Angolan boys made good use of a set-play with Babina Noko caught square and profited to make it 1-1.
Sekhukhune were keen to keep their tournament through this clash alive as the second half got underway, but the Angolans proved difficult customers on the road.
Babina Noko did indeed come good earlier on when Makgalwa completed a brace after coming in towards the edge of the area and applied a drop of the shoulder before riffling in the top corner.
Veteran midfielder Monare was introduced inside the final exchanges and replaced Relebogile Mokhouane, with the host adding a fresh set of legs.
Luanda weren't able to launch a reply thereafter and suffered defeat, but still advanced to the group stages through the away-goal rule.
