Gavin Hunt felt his side could have scored more goals against Royal Leopards

Wits beat the Leopards 3-0 to increase their chances of advancing into the next stage of the competition but, despite the three-goal margin, Hunt believes his team could have been more ruthless in front of goal and double the figures.

"To be honest we could have doubled the figures of the game," said Hunt after the match.

"However, the most important thing is that we gave a run to lot of young players in a good and really competitive environment, and that’s what we wanted," he added.

Hunt praised Leopards as a team even though the Clever Boys emerged a better side during the contest.

"They were competitive and aggressive," he said.

"When they broke down, they broke with speed. They were only let down by their final ball in the last third," he added.

The former SuperSport United coach promised to go for all-out attacking football in the return match scheduled for February 28 in Mbabane.

"We will approach [the second leg] exactly the same; give chances to the kids and see how they respond in a hostile environment and on an artificial field, and in the middle of the day," said Hunt.
