Orlando Pirates fans will be happy to know that their CAF Confederation Cup game against Jwaneng Galaxy will go ahead as scheduled on Sunday.
Pirates are set to host Galaxy for the second-leg match of the pre-group stage playoffs after beating them 3-0 in their own backyard in Botswana last Sunday.
There have been fears that the game might not take place after both Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns had their respective CAF Champions League trips to Morocco and Algeria cancelled due to Covid-19 concerns .
CAF has since called an emergency with all three clubs today to address the challenges facing South African teams failing to travel to other African countries.
However, Jwaneng Galaxy spokesperson Tankiso Morake has confirmed that his team are definitely coming to South Africa today to honour their Confederation Cup fixture.
"They are leaving this morning, so they will have crossed the border around 08h30," Morake tells snl24.com/kickoff.
Galaxy will be minus defender Gofaone Molapi due to injury for the game at Orlando Stadium on Sunday (17h00).
