Amakhosi take on Zimamoto at Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar, looking to finish off the job after hammering their opponents 4-0 in the first leg preliminary tie at Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium in Port Elizabeth last week.
Playing on artificial turf is something they are not used to, but head coach Giovanni Solinas is quite confident his players can deliver and play their brand of football on a different type of pitch.
“The pitch is an artificial turf, which is different from what we are used to,” Solinas told Amakhosi's website.
“Also, it’s very humid, which will be bring another element into play. We will once again manage the squad, considering the number of back-to-back matches we are playing and the travelling.”
He added: “The facilities are fine and are conducive to play our game of football."
Chiefs have been going through a difficult period domestically and the Confederation Cup will give them an opportunity to do well on the continent. It will be interesting to see if the squad will be able to handle playing on two fronts as they progress.
