Magesi FC have secured the Carling Knockout title with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday evening.
Masandawana named the same starting line-up from the semi-final win over Marumo Gallants, while Magesi were also unchanged their victory at Richards Bay FC.
Teboho Mokoena nearly lit up the venue through a scorcher outside the area earlier on after meeting a loose clearance, but Elvis Chipezeze pulled a stomping save.
A busy spell thereafter would come the way of the shot-stopper who remained firm between the sticks in spite of the relentless attacks launched by the Brazilians.
Sundowns persistently played on the front-foot around the half-hour mark and cut a lot of spaces at the other end through Iqraam Rayners, Peter Shalulile and Lucas Ribeiro.
The resistance applied by the counterparts fell off when Rayners played on the shoulder of the defence after coming inside and met Ribeiro's through pass to curl in the far corner.
Magesi didn't lose hope two minutes in the second half and clawed level when Tshepo Kakora popped up at the far post to head in Edmore Chirambadare's cross.
Having got the breakthrough, Rayners looked to re-establish the lead moments apart through a surging effort from way out but Chipezeze pulled a stop.
In search of inspiration, Sundowns made a trio of changes in Kutlwano Letlhaku, Neo Maema and Thapelo Morena.
The Limpopo outfit weren't troubled though and stunned the masses ten minutes from time when Delano Abrahams sneaked in the box to turn home Chirambadare's corner.
Masandawana struggled to get going from then on, leaving the league debutants to victory and the honour of Carling Knockout champions too.
