Mamelodi Sundowns cruised to the Carling Knockout semi-finals after thrashing Kaizer Chiefs 4-0 at FNB Stadium on Saturday evening.
Teboho Mokoena was ecalled by Masandawana and filled in for Neo Maema, as the Amakhosi welcomed back Inacio Miguel from suspension.
Masandawana were quick out of the starting blocks on 13 minutes where Lucas Ribeiro drew a foul in the box to win a penalty, which Iqraam Rayners converted for the lead.
The Amakhosi remained on the back-foot after seven minutes and were further behind as Rayners completed his brace with a calm finish after latching onto a loose ball.
Peter Shalulile looked for a third goal just before the half-hour mark through a powerful shot from close-range, but he was perfectly thwarted by Fabrice Ntwari.
Shalulile did make amends though five minutes ahead of halftime when he made a timeous run into the box following Ribeiro's through pass and finished with aplomb.
Chiefs were all at see as Masandawana targeted a fifth moments later after Ribeiro's curling strike from afar clattered off the woodwork.
The first shot in anger from the host came in time added on with Ranga Chivaviro letting go from a clever angle, but Ronwen Williams made a stop.
Coach Nasreddine Nabi made a substitution at the resumption for the Amakhosi and saw Dillon Solomons come on in the place of Reeve Frosler.
However, the Soweto giants' miserable outing continued ten minutes in as Miguel was sent off for hacking down Shalulile and consequently earned a second yellow card.
The floodgates remained open as the visitors bagged a fourth goal after Mudau combined perfectly with Ribeiro's delivery and dinked cleverly over Ntwari.
Chiefs enjoyed little to no penetration with the visiting team in complete control and cruising for a large spell of the contest.
Masandawana very nearly pulled further clear through substitute Kutlwano Letlhaku following Shalulile's lay-off in the box, but he went wide as the four goals were enough to seal their spot in the final four.
