The new deal also signals the end of his relationship with his previous boot sponsor, PUMA.

"We are super excited to sign with Tshego today as our key partner and athlete. We think he is a great match for our brand, and we are super excited to have him on board and grow with him throughout the rest of his journey," said Megan Rich, Under Armour's brand manager.

"I think he just wants a key partner that understands his needs and has a similar kind of feel and direction to where he wants to go. We are on the same kind of journey as him—we're a youth brand and quite young in the industry.

"He's at the pinnacle of his career, and we really just want to be part of that journey."
