Nasreddine Nabi believes there is need to control expectations at Kaizer Chiefs as he sets out on his special mission at the club.
Nabi highlights that after having adopted a team that had its worst finish last season, there is need to be understanding of the process instead of seeking to aim for trophies right away.

Amakhosi fans are thirsty for success with the club having last won silverware back in May 2015, which explains why they are putting their hopes on the Tunisian-Belgian gaffer.
"I don't want to always highlight that management brought me in for a special mission," says Nabi ahead of the blockbuster Carling Knockout quarterfinal against Mamelodi Sundowns at FNB Stadium on Saturday (18:00).
"That mission that I am here to fulfil is a mission that has steps, with first step being the transition period.
"We are not saying that to cover ourselves because of the results, either negative or positive, but we have to stick to the same trajectory of the mission.
"This mission that we are fulfilling has many steps and there are some media that are trying to portray Kaizer Chiefs as a contender for a trophy or the league immediately, which is not the case.
"But we have to play and get the results right.
"But in the meantime, there is something that has happened in the previous years, 10 years without a trophy, and last season probably the worst season in Kaizer Chiefs history, finishing 10th.
"This brings us the objective of a long-term project, is to become the Kaizer Chiefs that everyone wants to see, which means being top of the table and challenge for any trophy.
"In the meantime, there are steps, and we need to go methodically with what we want to do with Kaizer Chiefs because we don't want to create chaos or misunderstanding with our fans, but we promise them that we are doing everything we can to reach that level as soon as possible.
"That is why we are calling some media that wants to influence people that Kaizer Chiefs is a contender for the league immediately.
"You have to see where we are coming from and where we are going," says Nabi.
"I'm here to build a very good and strong team than to pretend to be a contender for the championship or any league cup.
"I repeat: I'm very realistic and honest about the mission that I am doing here.
"If I tell you today that the team that I have can be a contender for the championship, I will be lying and won't be an honest man.
"We need first to build a strong and very good and strong Kaizer Chiefs team and after that, we can play for the championship.

"This doesn't mean that in every game or competition we are not going to give everything we have to win games. Even if there is a cup to win, we will try to win it.
"We have the spirit of winners, and I want the players as well to have that spirit, but I repeat that we have to be honest and realistic and then there will be no misunderstanding," says Nabi.
