Forgotten duo spotted at Chiefs training

Kaizer Chiefs have seemingly been handed a boost in their preparations for the Betway Premiership match against SuperSport United with the return to full training of at least two first-team stars.

Nasreddine Nabi's charge will be looking to make it two wins on the bounce against Matsatsantsa after hammering the Tshwane outfit 4-0 in the Last 16 of the Carling Knockout last Saturday.

In their bid, it now seems they will even have more firepower to call on as midfielders George Matlou and Tebogo Potsane have returned to full training after recovering from their respective injuries.

Matlou underwent surgery on his knee and was expected to be back in action around October.

The midfielder, however, appears to be ahead of schedule.

Potsane, on the other hand, had twisted his ankle and was also expected to be back in action in November.

Both players did light training last week and appear to be now involved in first-team training, having been spotted in the club's recent training photos.

The pair have not featured for the side at all so far this season.

Amakhosi also benefited from another speedy recovery in Gaston Sirino, who put in a Man of the Match performance despite not being 100% fit over the weekend.

Meanwhile, a win on Saturday could take the Naturena-based outfit as high as second on the log standings with four matches played.
