Kaizer Chiefs head coach Nasreddine Nabi has commented on the immediate future of midfielder Sibongiseni Mthethwa following the midfielder' improved recent performances.
Mthethwa was seemingly destined for the exit door ahead of the new season, with Chiefs understood to have even made efforts to offload the former Stellenbosch FC hard grafter.

He was not included in any of the side's first seven matches across all competitions and was expected to possibly exit the club as soon as the upcoming January transfer window.
However, things may have taken a complete U-turn with Mthethwa having impressed during the Home of Legends Cup, where he was handed a non-competitive shift in the one-day friendly tournament.
Those efforts earned him a start against Richards Bay FC in the Betway Premiership, where the 30-year-old delivered a Man-of-the-Match performance and another start against Royal AM.
"I think this time, 'Ox' understands his role. We worked together on his negative points," Nabi said when asked about the former Stellies man's resurgence at the post-match press conference.
'Ox' worked hard to improve the negative points. If he works hard, he will progress. He took his chance and worked for his chance. Same with all players. I congratulate Ox' for his performance."
