Another former Kaizer Chiefs and Mamelodi Sundowns striker has backed Nasreddine Nabi to outsmart Manqoba Mngqithi in their Carling Knockout quarter-final.
Chiefs are in hunt of their first trophy since 2015.
Sundowns are playing against Amakhosi in the quarterfinals of the Carling Knockout at FNB Stadium on Saturday.
"I watched the game against Magesi where the score was 2-2; in the first half, I think they were lazy Chiefs; they had lapses of concentration," Niemach tells KickOff.
"But it's simply because this guy Nabi is still putting his philosophy in the team. That's why it's taking him long enough.
"Tomorrow there could be an upset on the cards, with an attacking game in prospect.
"Normally, we'd say, aah, Sundowns will have an upper hand. But with this Chiefs coach, it's different because he's got the respect of the players, he controls the dressing room, and he seems a very strong character.
"The Chiefs players respect him enough to give 110%. This is a cracking match I'm looking forward to watching.
"They like to attack from all areas this Chiefs side, it's unpredictable the way he set up his stall this coach.
"If a player has potential, the coach can pull out that potential from the player.
"Yes, Sundowns got the pedigree; the stats and the results speak for themselves. Winning is a culture, a culture that has been with Sundowns for years now.
"When you are used to winning, losing becomes secondary to you.
"I'm happy that the tickets are coming out of the stadium, and the encounter is now sold out. We are in for a treat. Our football has come alive again."
