Kaizer Chiefs will have their crowing moment in the PSL Reserve League this weekend after the boardroom decision to hand them three points.
Chiefs play struggling Magesi FC in their penultimate league match at Dobsonville Stadium on Saturday (10:00).

Victory in that match will mean Amakhosi need not bother looking over their shoulders as they will be guaranteed of their first reserve league title.
They have moved up to 64 points after they were awarded three points on a 3-0 scoreline following Chippa United’s failure to honour their game on February 1.
“DC/1192/2025:
Chippa United were found guilty of failing to honour the fixture against Kaizer Chiefs on the 1st of February 2025.
The match was awarded to Kaizer Chiefs with a 3-0 scoreline,” reads a statement from the PSL with an updated log.

With the latest update, the Soweto giants now have 64 points, while second-placed Stellenbosch FC have 60 with two games to play.
Stellies – who are the defending champions – play Gallants on Saturday (10:00) at the Idas Valley Sports Ground.
The Reserve League will end on May 3.
